Everything running

Panels, payments and gym sites are running normally. If something will not load, try closing the app and opening it again.

What's new

We ship changes often. Here is what changed, plainly told. You are on version 2.12.0.

Latestv2.12.0

Padel, five-a-side, tennis, hockey, volleyball and golf clubs

For you, the gym owner

  • If you run a club, your site is born with your sport's photos, copy and services: courts, lessons, kids' school, tournaments or teams by age group. You pick it when you sign up or under Settings → Your home page style. Online court booking is part of the Apex Elite plan.
  • Signing up by claiming your place's directory listing now starts you with a site built for your kind of place. It used to start with an empty home page.
v2.11.0

Health professionals, Pix and a help center

For you, the gym owner

  • Gyms in Brazil: mark your Pix key in Settings → Payments and your members pay with the QR code or copy and paste, amount included. No fee, and Pix shows up on its own in Analytics under payment methods.

For the trainers

  • Physios and sports physicians get their own follow-up on the student's card: injury, area, pain and sessions, or the clearance with its expiry and restrictions. The latest clearance shows at the top of the card for every professional on that member; the front desk cannot read it. On Apex Elite.
  • Each professional picks their tools in My details —routines, nutrition, measurements, physiotherapy, sports medicine— and the student's card shows only those.

For the members

  • In Brazil, pay your fee or a shop order with the Pix QR code or copy and paste from your bank app, then upload the receipt.

For everyone

  • A help center at weappgym.com/en/help: every panel task with its steps and a short video, for computer and phone, in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Open it from the panel menu, under Help.
  • Several buttons and the staff roles that showed in Spanish with the panel in English or Portuguese now appear in your language.
v2.10.0

Bookings: courts, slots and class spots

For you, the gym owner

  • Add your courts, lanes or rooms with their days and hours, and the member books the slot from the app. Capacity is optional: one per slot for a court rented whole, several for a shared space, or none at all.
  • The day's bookings show up at reception: who is coming and when, with a button to mark them as attended and another to charge the slot. What you charge lands in your reports as a booking, apart from membership fees.

For the members

  • Book a court or slot from your panel, pick a day within the next fortnight and cancel if you cannot make it. The night before, a reminder reaches your phone.

For everyone

  • Classes with capacity show how many spots are left on the site's schedule, and every gym gets an availability page to share.
v2.9.0

The directory: where to train, on a map

For you, the gym owner

  • Your gym appears in the directory with live prices and schedule and a signup button, as soon as you set your branch address with the map.
  • If your gym is already listed without WeAppGym, you can claim it from there: signup starts with your name, address and phone already filled in.

For everyone

  • weappgym.com/directory: gyms, boxes, studios, pools and clubs on a map, with address, hours and contact. Search by city or from your location, within 5 km.
v2.8.0

Clearer charges, and more data about your site

For you, the gym owner

  • When you charge for something that isn't the membership fee — water, a loose product — you mark it as such, and it no longer extends anyone's membership by mistake.
  • Your panel shows where visits to your site come from: search engines, social media or direct, phone or computer, which country, and how many leave without looking at a second page.
  • If you connect a domain that already receives mail elsewhere, we warn you before you continue, so you don't lose it by accident.
v2.7.0

Every trainer, with their own classes and videos

For you, the gym owner

  • You pick which classes each trainer teaches, and that also settles who can write each class page. It is the same list as always, in your panel: there are no separate permissions to keep up to date.
  • Your trainers load their own videos and attach them to routines, without you having to upload anything for them.

For the trainers

  • You fix the text and the photos of the classes you teach, right on the page itself. There is a “My classes” item in the menu that takes you there.
  • Your own video library: upload a video, keep it to yourself or share it with the team, and attach it to any exercise.
  • Base routines can carry a video per exercise too. Until now that was only possible inside a member's own routine.
  • What you mark as private is yours: nobody else on the team sees it or uses it, and only the members you attached it to can watch it.

For the members

  • The video your trainer attached to an exercise plays right there, inside your routine.
  • You choose how your video library looks — big list or mosaic — and it stays that way next time you open it.

For everyone

  • The panel is finished in the three languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese.
v2.6.0

Your gym, in your language and your currency

For you, the gym owner

  • When you create your gym you pick what kind of place it is — a gym, a climbing centre, a pilates studio — and your home page is born written for that, with its own text and photos.
  • You choose the currency you charge in, under Settings, and prices show that way on your site and in your panel. A Chilean gym charges in Chilean pesos and a Brazilian one in reais.
  • Your plan decides what gets published: the page for each discipline and the live schedule grid are Apex Elite, and the pricing page shows plainly which one suits you.
  • Your site's map can show your Google listing: open your business in Maps, tap Share and paste the link into Settings. Your name, your photos and your reviews appear instead of a pin on the street.

For the members

  • You can leave your card on file and have the fee charged automatically every month, if your gym has connected its billing account. You can cancel it from your panel whenever you like, and you keep access until the date you already paid for.
  • Your health record is yours: you authorise it being stored, you see who can read it — your gym's owner and reception, and the teacher you are assigned to — and you delete it yourself whenever you want, without asking anyone.

For everyone

  • Each person chooses the language the panel speaks to them in, and it is saved to their account. In the same gym, one person can have it in Spanish and another in Portuguese.
  • Everything speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese: the panel, the public site, and even the messages each button answers with. Some 340 phrases, with nothing left stranded in a single language.
  • Your site's public pages are served from the server nearest to whoever is looking at them, anywhere in the world. Editing is still instant: the owner always sees their site live.
  • We published the terms of service, the privacy policy and the data processing agreement, in all three languages. They are accepted when the gym is created and are always in the site footer.
v2.5.0

Your classes, with their photos and their own page

For you, the gym owner

  • When you create your gym you pick what you train, and each discipline is born with its own page already written: intro, body, who it is for, benefits and closing. You correct what you want — you never start from a blank page.
  • You can add each class's photos and video from that class's own page, with «Edit». They are shrunk before uploading, so you send the good photo and your site stays light — and it tells you if a photo is blurry or too small before it goes live.
  • Your site introduces itself on Google: the title and description of your home page, of each class and of each location are built from your gym's name and your city — «Muay Thai in Santa Teresita» — which is how people actually search.
  • Your panel now uses your colour. It used to show the first gym's green even after you had chosen another palette.

For the front desk

  • Adding a class to the timetable and assigning disciplines to a member work again: they used to report success and save nothing, and the list offered another gym's classes. Now it offers yours.

For the members

  • On a class page, a trainer who has not uploaded a photo yet shows the gym's mark instead of an empty space.
v2.4.0

Every location, properly shown

For you, the gym owner

  • Your site's footer now lists every location, your social accounts and your hours — and it still looks right whether you have one branch or ten.
  • Each location page was redesigned: the map now looks for your Google Business listing — the one with the reviews and photos — instead of dropping a bare pin, and the details read at a glance.
v2.3.0

Edit the site from the site

For you, the gym owner

  • Open your own site, hit «Edit», and change any text by tapping it. No hunting through panel screens for where that sentence lives: you see it, you tap it, you write it.

For the members

  • The emails you get come from your gym, with its name on them, and they are in your language: Spanish, English or Portuguese.
  • You can sign in with a link sent to your email — no password to type.
v2.2.0

The gym writes its site, not us

For you, the gym owner

  • The home page is yours: the headline, the text, the background video or photo, and how it is cropped. None of it comes written in the box.
  • About us, the services, the plans with what each one includes, the classes, and even the heading of every section are loaded from the panel.
  • Every trainer with their photo, uploaded from your phone. Each class page shows who teaches it according to the schedule, so it does not go stale when you move someone to another slot.
  • If you have more than one location, each gets its own page with its address, its hours and its schedule — which is also what Google looks for when someone types “gym” and the name of a neighbourhood.

For everyone

  • Fixed: several buttons on a gym's site led to the wrong gym. WhatsApp, the phone number and shared links are now always those of the gym you are looking at.
v2.1.0

Charge with your account, not ours

For you, the gym owner

  • Connect your own Mercado Pago account from the panel and the fees land straight in it. It does not pass through us, and there is no payout to wait for.
  • You say how you want to be paid: cash, bank transfer, a payment link, or all three. The site shows only what you accept.
  • Plans and prices are created and changed from the panel, and the table on your site updates itself.

For the front desk

  • Transfer receipts uploaded by a member are approved from the queue, and the plan goes active there and then.
v2.0.0

Every gym, its own app

For you, the gym owner

  • You sign up and, in that same moment, your site, your panel and the app for your members are running, with your name and your address.
  • Your data is yours and nobody else's. No other gym on the platform sees a member, a payment or a routine of yours.

For everyone

  • The site and the app are in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and each person sees theirs.
v1.10.0

Home classes, only for whoever has them

For the members

  • If your plan does not include the recorded classes, “Home classes” no longer appears in your menu. Before, you went in and met a screen explaining that you could not watch them: one less screen to read, especially for someone who does not see well.
  • If your fee lapses, the section disappears until you settle it, and then comes back on its own. What you owe is still on your panel, which is where it belongs, and in one place only.
v1.9.0

Who did what

For you, the gym owner

  • No more asking whoever worked the other shift why a member ended up the way they did. It is written on their record, with a name and a date.

For the front desk

  • Each member's record shows their history: who signed them up, what they paid and when, who approved their plan change. The last 20 movements are kept.
v1.8.0

The health record, in the member's account

For the trainers

  • Your students' fitness record no longer lives in a folder: it sits with the rest of their details.

For the members

  • The sheet that used to be filled in by hand on day one — the details, the health cover and the health questions — is now under My details. Filled in once, and kept.
  • It is corrected whenever needed. If you started a medication or got injured, you update it from your phone without asking for the sheet at the desk.

For everyone

  • Fixed: dates showed a day earlier than they were. If you logged a workout on the 14th, the list said the 13th. Same with due dates.
v1.7.0

Dates, as they actually happened

For the front desk

  • When you sign a member up you choose when their plan starts counting. If they had been training already and settled two weeks ago, you enter that date and the due date works itself out.
  • Payments get a date too. If the money came in on Friday and you enter it on Monday, it is recorded on Friday and the month's summary closes with what actually happened.
  • When you take a member's payment you choose the method. If they transferred and never sent the receipt, but you saw the money in the account, you record it as a transfer and activate their plan anyway.
v1.6.0

Video on the class pages

For you, the gym owner

  • The home page and each class page can show real video of what training there looks like, not just photos. It is what convinces someone who has never walked in.
  • A new class adds itself to the schedule and to the site: type the name, pick an icon, and it is published.
v1.5.0

Progress, in the member's hands

For the trainers

  • Base routines: save the plan you repeat most and apply it to any student in two taps. What they get is a copy, so you adjust it for that person without touching the base.
  • On a student's record you see what they trained and when, and every note says who wrote it.
  • One trainer can have two different classes at the same time — it happens in the weights room. The panel warns you and asks before saving it.

For the members

  • When you finish a routine you tap “Done” and it is logged. Below, you watch how many days in a row you are on and how many you trained this month.
  • You can write your own notes: how you felt, your weight, your body fat. Your trainer reads them, and yours are yours to delete.
v1.4.0

Home classes, and notices on your phone

For you, the gym owner

  • A notice reaches every member at once, with no broadcast list to build and without holding their numbers.

For the members

  • A private video library: recorded classes to do at home whenever you like, according to your plan.
  • The gym's notices reach your phone and stay in your panel even if you miss them at the time.
v1.3.0

The schedule is loaded from the panel

For you, the gym owner

  • The schedule grid on the site is edited from the panel: when a class moves, it updates right away and without calling anyone.

For the trainers

  • Each trainer creates and corrects their own classes.
v1.2.0

Real routines

For the trainers

  • Student tracking: level, weight, body fat and notes.

For the members

  • Your routine with every exercise, set, rep and rest, to open on your phone while you train.
v1.1.0

Payments and reminders

For you, the gym owner

  • Due dates are notified automatically, every day. It is the difference between a member who renews and one who forgot.

For the members

  • You can upload your transfer receipt from your phone and see the history of what you have paid.
  • We warn you before your fee is due, so you do not find out at the door.
v1.0.0

The panel, online

For the members

  • An account of your own to see your plan, your due date and your details.

For everyone

  • The app installs on your phone and opens like any other.

On the way

What we are building right now.

  • Access control with a smart lock

The door opens from the app only when the fee is paid up. Quoted separately per venue.

Don't have your app yet?

It takes minutes, and your gym ends up with a site, a panel and an app.
